We are Family

Today is the day of departure. crazy things needed to be done. collecting paycheques, buying baby milk, getting our last fill of mom's ketam curry......We've been wearing the same clothes for 3 days! Eeewww...smelly.

The excitement is bone chilling but the sadness is melancholy. here's a pic of our extended family on Ariff's side.

There is only less than 2 weeks before my little nuclear family make the big move to the great Outback. In 12 days, me, my husband, Ariff and my daughter, Aerin (19 months) will be left maidless and parentless as we make the small steps for a better life. Lets just hope they sell belacan there! My budu is so coming with me - those poor Immigration folks. I hope they don't faint at the smell of budu.
